DR. LOIS GREENE – HUMAN EXPERIENCE

Dr. Greene started her career as an emergency department nurse at University Hospital almost 30 years ago. Throughout her career, she finds herself coming back to University Hospital to impact the lives and health of this community. Lois has great integrity and teaches her colleagues across all levels to serve patients with dignity.
DR. ONAJOVWE FOFAH – PEDIATRICS

Dr. Fofah is passionate about pediatrics and is always looking for ways to improve the experience for his patients and their families. He is an advocate for all children under his care. Dr. Fofah’s clinic recently launched lead and mercury testing for newborns as well as the first general population type 1 diabetes screening program, both of which will save the lives of so many through early detection, intervention, and education.
DENNIS BOOS – EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT & CENTRAL COMMAND

Dennis and his colleagues jump into action for every disaster, crisis and emergency that unfolds. They are the problem solvers and well positioned to protect our community. Throughout COVID, Dennis and his team managed the daily operations of the hospital in coordination with local, county, state, and federal partners. Because of the team, UH’s response to the pandemic is considered a model for other facilities.
