Shortly after Flourish Nanna came to the United States looking for a better life, she required medical care that led her to University Hospital. Without a job or insurance coverage, Flourish turned to the hospital’s team of experts to assist and get her covered. She was able to receive the life-saving testing and treatment she needed to stay healthy, work, and thrive – at no cost to her.

Flourish has kept this experience close to her heart.

Flourish knows there are others like her — uninsured patients who need care but lack access. She now makes a monthly donation to University Hospital Foundation to pay it forward, giving back to the hospital that helped her when she needed it most.
