Honoring Cecelia “Cece” Lassiter at University Hospital Foundation’s Annual Golf Classic
We are proud to name Cecilia “Cece” Lassiter as the honoree for University Hospital Foundation’s 2026 Golf Classic!
Cece has been a dedicated supporter of University Hospital Foundation for over a decade, serving on the Board of Trustees since the Foundation was established in 2014. Through her leadership, advocacy, and generosity, Cece has played an important role in advancing the Foundation’s mission to support exceptional care for the communities University Hospital serves.
Over the last three years, Cece has also been an active member of the Golf Classic committee, helping to grow and strengthen the Golf Classic into what has become the Foundation’s largest fundraising event. An avid golfer with a passion for the game and the connections it creates, Cece is especially committed to encouraging and empowering more women to get involved in golf. She believes the course can be a place to build confidence, community, mentorship, and meaningful professional relationships, and she is a strong advocate for creating more opportunities for women in the sport.
Professionally, Cece is Chair of the State and Local Incentives Practice Group at Sills Cummis & Gross P.C., where she focuses on redevelopment, incentives, and economic development projects throughout New Jersey. Widely respected as a leader in commercial real estate, state tax credits, and redevelopment, she has helped shape transformative projects across the state while remaining deeply committed to civic and philanthropic leadership. In addition to her work with University Hospital Foundation, Cece serves on several nonprofit and professional boards and has been recognized by organizations including the Essex County Bar Association, NAIOP, ROI-NJ, NJBIZ, and The Best Lawyers in America.
