Cecilia Lassiter is an associate with Sills Cummis & Gross, P.C. Ms. Lassiter focuses on real property matters, with a particular emphasis on zoning, land use, development and redevelopment. She has extensive experience in redevelopment matters, including the designation of areas in need of redevelopment or areas in need of rehabilitation, and the negotiation and preparation of complex redevelopment agreements, purchase and sale agreements, easements, licenses, lease agreements and land use and occupancy agreements
She advises both private and governmental entities on procedural and substantive requirements of land use and redevelopment law, and complex and sophisticated title issues. She has participated in the drafting of ordinances, resolution, redevelopment plans and developer’s agreement.
Prior to joining Sills Cummis & Gross, Ms. Lassiter was an associate at McManimon, Scotland & Baumann.
Ms. Lassiter is member of the New Jersey State Bar Association; New York State Bar Association; National Hispanic Bar Association, and Sponsorship Committee, CREW NJ (Commercial Real Estate Women of New Jersey).
Ms. Lassiter received her Bar admission in 2009 for New Jersey State and 2010 for New York State. She also received her BA from the University of Texas and her J.D. from the New York Law School.
