Michael A. Curi, MD, MPA
Michael A. Curi, MD, MPA, is Chief of Vascular Surgery at Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School, and Director of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery at University Hospital where he is the current president-elect of the Medical Staff.
Dr. Curi is a native of Essex County, NJ, and a graduate of New Jersey Medical School. He has published many articles in leading vascular journals, authored chapters in surgical text books on aortic aneurysms, and has been nationally recognized for his work in vascular research.
Dr. Curi is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Society of Vascular Surgery, Vascular & Endovascular Surgical Society and The Eastern Vascular Society. He is certified by the American Board Surgery in both Vascular & General Surgery and served on a national consensus panel for the Endovascular Treatment of Thoracic Aortic Disease.
Dr. Curi lives in Short Hills with his wife and three boys. In 2012, he and his wife, Lisa, founded and continue to chair the annual “Golf Classic” fundraising event to benefit University Hospital.
